Hulk Hogan Caught Off Guard By Divorce News

November 25, 2007

Hulk Hogan Divorce Holy SmokesThere are good ways to find out you’re getting divorced and there are bad ways.

Wrestling hero Hulk Hogan recently found out that his wife, Linda Bollea, is divorcing him in the worst way possible — by a newspaper reporter.

When Hulk Hogan, whose real name is Terry Gene Bollea, was informed of the news by the St. Petersburg Times.  He responded by saying “Thank you for the great information,” and promptly hung up.

After about 5 minutes, he returned the call.

“I’m kind of shocked,” said Hogan. “You caught me off-guard. My wife has been in California for about three weeks. … Holy smokes. Wow, you just knocked the bottom out of me. … I just pulled over to the side of the road for five minutes to find out what was going on here.”

When the reporter asked whether there had been any previous discussion about splitting up, the Hulkster responded: ”That’s my private business.”

I hope Linda doesnt get half and that she is an idiot for divorcing Hulk Hogan. Let her get back out in the dating world and she will soon realize that the grass is not greener on the other side.

What is it about people these days? Just “flippantly decide one morning, I think I’ll get a divorce today.”
It’s supposed to be for life, that’s what they say in the ceremony.
It’s a license issued by a government agency.
Well, other contracts are taken seriously, but not a marriage contract since the no-fault laws of the 70’s.

Do you know how hard it is to get a government issued driver’s license removed from your old grandpa that almost kills himself and others almost every time he drives? Practically impossible! Even if a Dr. recommends it.
But a marriage? …just mention you want a divorce and bingo, it’s done.
But keep gramps on the road because he ha a legal document that says he can drive …and we’ll all just keep wondering about how backward the system has become. No common sense.

What’s worse is that so many kids come through a parent’s divorce when they are young that then they repeat the error when they are married to “fix” the problems. Which just makes more problems.
I have seen a program with a free e-course that helps repair marriages even just before divorce (TriedTrueBlue.com/SavedMarriage) but I don’t know if the “wife” would regain her brain and do the best thing. I hope she does. It’s not too late but I am an Idealist.
I like trying to do the Best thing, so I have No Regrets.
