High School Musical 3’s Vanessa Hudgens And Zac Efron Named It Couple

When it comes to ”it” couples and hookups during 2007, Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron, stars of the upcoming High School Musical 3, should immediately come to mind.

After all, they’re young, talented, charming, and have paparazzi following every move they make.  So who can argue with ABC News’ decision to name the cuties in their end of the year list?

“The stars of Disney’s hit movie High School Musical, Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens became the center of attention this year when they were spotted vacationing in Hawaii,” described the website.   ”The new hot couple were photographed looking very cozy and comfortable together. Vanessa had a tumultuous year when pictures of her surfaced on the Web, but this did not bother Zac one bit. He proudly stood by his girl through it all.”

While the gossip mills seem to report that the two are breaking up at least once a week, the couple has stood strong through it all. 

Besides, we’d watch these two over fellow “it” duo Rose McGowan and Robert Rodriguez any day of the week. 

JK Rowling Teases 8th Harry Potter Book

J.K. Rowling, the much-envied author behind the Harry Potter series, has recently teased that the series might not be over after all. 

After saying in countless interviews that her last book was the end of the line for Harry, Hermione, Ron, & the gang, it looks like it’s not quite in stone anymore.

“There have been times since finishing, weak moments, when I’ve said ‘Yeah, all right’ to the eighth novel,” she said in the latest issue of Time.

“If - and it’s a big if - I ever write an eighth book, I doubt that Harry would be the central character. I feel I’ve already told his story.”

She’s already got a few projects to pass the time in the meantime, including an adult novel and self-described “political fairy tale”. 

But if she does give in and write another Potter tome, we’ve got a sneaking suspicion there will be a couple of readers that will be quite interested in giving it a read.

Report: Britney Spears Disappointed with Jamie Lynn

Britney Spears is hardly the best role model that a younger sister can have, but she is reportedly incredibly disappointed by the surprise announcement of Jamie Lynn’s pregnancy.

Thepeople.co.uk is reporting that Britney lamented that she’s “really disappointed in her,” and that she “told her over and over just to be a kid and let the adult things like sex and drinking and all that wait.”

For those who have been completely out of the loop lately, Zoey 101 star Jamie Lynn Spears recently told OK! Magazine that she was impregnated by 19-year old boyfriend Casey Aldridge, and is already a few months along.

The website went on to say that Britney admitted that she’s “done some pretty dumb stuff and haven’t been a good role model,” so nobody can accuse the pop star of not being at least a little bit self-aware.

Jamie Lynn has made it clear that she is happy and intends to keep the baby.
