Dr. Phil: Britney & Jamie Lynn Spears’ Mom Is Great
December 25, 2007
There are many people out there who are blaming both Britney Spears’ and her sister Jamie Lynn’s behavior on their mother, Lynne.
Dr. Phil McGraw is not one of them.
In a recent interview with People, Dr. Phil made it clear that he thinks that both daughters are lucky to have Lynne as a mom.
“We know the Spears family, particularly the parents,” he told the magazine. “An asset that Britney and Jamie Lynn both have is a great and dedicated mother.”
Apparently, the family is currently using the power of prayer in order to get through their recent troubles.
“I talked to Lynne yesterday and she said they’re turning to prayer, asked that I pray for them. That’s how they’re going to get through it,” explained Dr. Phil’s wife, Robin.

I don’t think it’s Brttenys and Jamie lynns mother at all… I used to love britteny spears and i think after she married kevin she got different and i think jamie is really upset and jsu tdoing stupid things becuase she feels bad for herself if anything we should just leave them alone and let them deal with there problems how they want FAMOUS or not we should
first and foremost, i do put some of the blame on the mother. she could have been a little more involved with her daughter seeing shes only 16, not 18 to legally be an adult. she has more say in her daughters life then what jamie proli thinks, but because shes famous, i think her mother thinks she can handle herself. bad mistake lynne on your part. also, one thing about being famous is the money, jamie wont have to worry about that unless they go bankrupt.
i think we all knew well enough it was only a matter of time before jamie ended up pregnant like her sister. im her age, shes a couple days older, and i wouldnt even think about having sex so young cause the chance of getting pregnant or stds. teen preganacy is a big issue today and many ppl dont realize it. teen girls should not end up pregnant in their teen years, its too young at that age. it gives away to self respect, self value, bad outlooks, upon many other self rights to one self. sex at the age of sixteen is gross, how can one become so sexual active so young? who’s the father of the baby, does she know, do we know ? does she love him?(not that its our business, but hey, they sell their personal life to the public for money) you know, your not suppose to lose your virginity until marrige, that way you have a respectable, trusting, & loving relationship with your spouse. ok, so your not a virgin, and you’ve had sex with more then two guys, multiple times. you end up pregnant, with 4 different std’s. 2 is passed your baby. wouldnt you feel awful and just so disgusted with yourself? some people believe in abortion, im one of those. if you’ve ever thought about it, do it before you get attached to “it”. i think its only ok to do that though if it wasn’t conceived in love, and you didnt love the person you were having sex with.
i know its a big peer pressure thing amoung us teens to lose our virginity, but would you want to marry someone whos had sex alot? guys, do you want a girl whos been in multiply beds, with only god knows what? wouldnt you rather have a pure, loving relationship and still get everything you need and desire? those girls are out there, just be patient and smart. girls, do you want a guy whos already fathered children that arent yours? what about a guy who doesnt pay child support to his children from a previous marrige or relationship? do you think he’ll pay child support if yall split?
maybe you’ve been with your high school love through out high school, its ur senior year and you’ve made a decision to get married soon or engaged. your talking about having a baby, you both agree, but not now, because you want to pursue a career that will support you and a future family. you want to make sure the child grows up with everything it needs, in a good environment, happy, and loved by two parents who love each other.
this is the way to go, why are so many teen girls so stupid and blind?
i had alot to say on this subject because its a bigger issue then what america realizes.
