High School Musical’s Vanessa Hudgens, Zac Efron, and Ashley Tisdale Make Top 20

We wouldn’t mind earning what the Disney Channel must be making with hit shows such as Hannah Montana and the High School Musical movies.
They’ve made stars out of Miley Cyrus, who was named the #1 tween of the year, as well as household names out of Vanessa Hudgens, Zac Efron, and Ashley Tisdale.
All three of the High School Musical 3 cast members have also been named in the Top 20 tween tv stars of 2007 as determined by AOL.
Zac Efron was the highest ranking star of the bunch, coming it at number two. Zac had the advantage of starring in the hit musical Hairspray, too.
Vanessa Hudgens came in next at the three spot. “The fresh-faced ingenue sings with a sweet pop sound, and her good-girl ‘HSM’ character, Gabriella, is impossible not to adore,” gushed AOL TV.
And last but not least is Ashley Tisdale at #12. Featured in both The Suite Life of Zack and Cody and the HSM franchise, Tisdale recently was in the headlines for surgery involving her nose. The actress claims it was to correct her deviated septum and not for cosmetic purposes.
