Hilary Duff Video Voted #1 Of 2007

Hilary Duff’s With Love video has been voted the #1 Most Voted Video of 2007 in Latin America, according to the fansite Hilarynews.com.
The website reports that the announcement was made on “Los 10 mas pedidos”, which we assume is a Latin American version of a top ten countdown.
Hilary Duff’s perfume of the same name, which she had a hands-on role in creating both the scent and the bottle, was released in late 2006 and the commercial featured an extended cut from the music video.
With Love was not Ms. Duff’s only appearance on the list, however. The Stranger vid also made the cut lower on the list at number 23.

High School Musical’s Vanessa Hudgens, Zac Efron, and Ashley Tisdale Make Top 20

We wouldn’t mind earning what the Disney Channel must be making with hit shows such as Hannah Montana and the High School Musical movies.
They’ve made stars out of Miley Cyrus, who was named the #1 tween of the year, as well as household names out of Vanessa Hudgens, Zac Efron, and Ashley Tisdale.
All three of the High School Musical 3 cast members have also been named in the Top 20 tween tv stars of 2007 as determined by AOL.
Zac Efron was the highest ranking star of the bunch, coming it at number two. Zac had the advantage of starring in the hit musical Hairspray, too.
Vanessa Hudgens came in next at the three spot. “The fresh-faced ingenue sings with a sweet pop sound, and her good-girl ‘HSM’ character, Gabriella, is impossible not to adore,” gushed AOL TV.
And last but not least is Ashley Tisdale at #12. Featured in both The Suite Life of Zack and Cody and the HSM franchise, Tisdale recently was in the headlines for surgery involving her nose. The actress claims it was to correct her deviated septum and not for cosmetic purposes.

Hannah Montana’s Miley Cyrus Named #1 Tween TV Star

To say that Miley Cyrus, star of the Disney Channel show Hannah Montana, is having a great year would be a massive understatement.
Miley Cyrus’ television show is a hit, every CD she releases shoots to number one, her concerts sell out in minutes, and now she has been named the #1 tween tv star in AOL’s Top 20 list.
2007 was the year of Miley Cyrus and her alter ego Hannah Montana.
“This daughter of ‘Achy Breaky Heart’ singer Billy Ray Cyrus is easily the most famous 15-year-old in the country,” proclaimed AOL. “In addition to the Disney Channel show — which has spawned video games, dolls and clothing — Cyrus just released a double album with the hit single ‘See You Again’ and quickly sold out her ‘Best of Both Worlds’ concert tour dates.”
Earlier this month, the fifteen year-old was ranked #17 in the 2007 list of Forbes Top twenty earners under 25 with an annual earning of US$3.5 million. Not too shabby.
