Heath Ledger, 28, Found Dead In Possible Overdose

According to the New York Police Department, actor Heath Ledger has been found dead in an apartment building.
Mr. Ledger was discovered by a housekeeper and a masseuse who had been let in for an appointment. The Australian actor was found unconscious by the duo, who tried to shake him but did not receive any sort of response.
The authorities were called in; the police say do not suspect foul play. The New York Times is reporting that pills were found near his body.
Ledger was a respected actor whose breakout role was in 1999’s 10 Things I Hate About You. He received an Oscar nomination for his work in 2005’s Brokeback Mountain.
He had recently completed shooting in his largest role to date as the Joker in The Dark Knight, scheduled for release this summer.
What a sad sad day. I found it hard to believe at first I thought it must have been a joke. I am sad for Heath that he thought drugs would be a good way to go to start with. What will Matilda do now? She will be brought up in America with her (beautiful) mother with no idea of this wonderful land we live in and the land her father called home Australia. Its just a very sad thing to have happen he was in the prime of his life I wonder what made him think to do that? How long had he been on drugs? For us Aussies who loved his work he will be sadly missed!
This is actually pathetic. I am sick of all these talented young actors passing away by doing drugs. Heath had what was coming to him. What an idiot! He just had a kid and this is how he goes out. When are these actors going to learn that they are not invincible? Another one bites the dust…………
