Marion Cotillard: Ellen Page In Juno Was ‘Amazing’

Both La Vie En Rose’s Marion Cotillard and Juno’s Ellen Page received the news today that they were both nominated for a Best Actress Academy Award.
It was a first for both of the talented thespians.
“I couldn’t believe this, to be amongst these incredible beautiful stunning actresses I admire so much,” exclaimed Ms. Cotillard to People.
“I just discovered Ellen Page. I saw Juno a few weeks ago. I think she’s amazing, so to be with those actresses is something really unbelievable and special.”
In an analogy that could be lost somewhat in translation, the La Vie En Rose star explained that “it’s as if I had swallowed some fireworks or something like this. My friends and my family in Paris, they are so happy.”
If Page wins the Oscar on February 24, she will be the youngest winner ever for Best Actress. Marlee Matlin is currently the youngest at 21 years old, but the Juno star is only 20 and has her beat by a few months.
Yes Juno was Amazing so amazing the fact that Ellen Page didn’t win
an Oscar instead of Marion Cotillard’s perfermance which from most people got a simpe eh. This is just another example of the Oscars being biased towards their favorite TYPE or IMAGE of what they THINK
SHOULD win. When Julia Roberts won one everyone knew it was total crap because she was never a great .. even a really good actor and
Ellen Page losing to Marion Cotillard is just another example of Oscars total BS. Crapping on Jim Carey was bad enough but this was Ellen Page and her Second not first but Second undeniable performance.
When she did Hard Candy we could understand because she was new and Hollywood looks you over the first time on occasion, but bypassing her for some no-talent supermodel type is just an unforgivable travesty and although Ellen Page probably doesn’t care
I sure as hell do, But by all means Oscars let me extend a “Howdy go F**k yourself” for you to stick up your *ss!
