Miley Cyrus Has Some Free Time: Hannah Montana Movie Delayed

Back in December, we reported about how the writers’ strike may cause delays in the shooting of The Hannah Montana Movie.

Talking about the possibility of the Miley Cyrus film being pushed back because of screenplay problems, a reported Disney insider had said that “This film could be a huge hit and really help launch Miley Cyrus’s movie career. But only if it gets the rewrite that it needs. Right now, that script is just in too rough a shape to shoot.”

Now comes word from Hollywood Exclusive that the strike has indeed caused the flick to be pushed back into May and that there’s no solid date for shooting to begin.

“We don’t have a definitive start date on the feature,” said co-star Jason Earles, who plays older brother Jackson Stewart on Hannah Montana.

“With the strike, I think the start date has been pushed a little bit into May. There’s a couple of versions of the script floating around, so it’ll be exciting to see where we land on that.”

Are the remaining episodes of Hannah Montana Season 2 delayed too because of this strike. Cuz I’m really dying to see the rest of them, but they just don’t air them. And the movie is going to be hit too! I’m really looking forward to watching it. Hannah Montana ROCKS! She is just AWESOME! Especially when she says those cute lines with “say what” and “sweet niblets” You are the ultimate STAR!
