Hilary Duff Talks Lindsay Lohan Feud, Joel Madden Breakup

In a recent interview with the Australian magazine Dolly, Hilary Duff talked about some ancient history with Lindsay Lohan and about her first love Joel Madden.
“Lindsay Lohan and I fell out when we were 13 and didn’t like each other, because we were dating the same guy — pop star Aaron Carter,” she recalled.
“I was seeing him, then she dated him and then we got back together and he was seeing us at the same time. How was I supposed to know he was dating her too?”
While she said Lindsay thought Hilary had “stolen” her man, it’s all water under the bridge now.
“Now we are fine. We see each other, but we are into different things,” acknowledged Ms. Duff.
As for Joel Madden, she remembers that he was her first love, but that she’s better off without him.
“It wasn’t like there was a big blow-out fight, or one of us had cheated…He was my first love but I definitely feel happier now that we’ve broken up,” she admitted.
After all, it was after Joel that she found hockey star Mike Comrie, and they’ve been a happy couple ever since.
Dolly Parton: Goddaughter Miley Cyrus More Than Hannah Montana

Dolly Parton, the most successful female country artist in history, has a long history with Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus.
She’s not only her godmother in real life, but Dolly also plays her “Aunt Dolly” on her hit television show.
In a recent interview, Ms. Parton was asked if she was listening to anybody these days that might surprise readers, and she took the opportunity to shower some love upon her goddaughter.
“That little Miley Cyrus … she’s like a little Elvis! The kids love her because she’s Hannah Montana, but what people don’t realize about her is she is such a fantastic singer and songwriter. She writes songs like she’s 40 years old! She’s really deep,” Dolly exclaimed to AOL’s Country Corner.
“And I think that she’s gonna have a big career after that show is off the air. I know I’m partial, because she’s my goddaughter. But I’m amazed at the talent that child has and the effect she has on people. And a lot of that ain’t just Disney, a lot of that is Miley.”
Those two ought to cut an album together sometime soon.
Thomas Jane (aka Tom Jane) Arrested, Charged With DUI

Thomas Jane has gone from appearing on Arrested Development in 2004 to just plain arrested in 2008.
The actor, who is married to Patricia Arquette, was pulled over for driving his Mazerati at “an extremely high rate of speed” and failed multiple breathalizer tests, according to Variety. Jane was also accused of driving with a suspended license.
He posted bail this morning and was hit with misdemeanor charges for DUI, operating a vehicle on a suspended license, and driving with a blood alcohol level above the .08% legal limit.
A different report from the website TMZ alleges that he was charged with drug possession without a prescription as well.
Jane was last seen on the big screen in Frank Darabont’s The Mist.
