Mischa Barton Takes Responsibility For DUI Arrest
January 10, 2008
Mischa Barton went through a DUI arrest late in December after the police found her driving her Range Rover erratically in the wee hours of the evening.
The actress has given her first interview since the December 27th arrest and she’s apparently quite contrite for what she did.
“Obviously, I’m 100 percent responsible for my actions in this case, and I’m really disappointed in myself,” she told E!’s Ryan Seacrest. ”I don’t know what to say about it except I’m not perfect.”
Besides being accused of driving under the influence, she was also charged with driving without a license. She admitted was unlicensed when she was pulled over.
“I didn’t have a license. I grew up in New York, the land of people who don’t have to drive. It’s always been the toughest thing about living in L.A. for me. I usually try not to get behind the wheel.”
Barton wouldn’t go into much further detail, stating that she was not supposed to discuss the upcoming case.
Jamie Lynn Spears Hearts Juno Soundtrack?
January 9, 2008
The second that Jamie Lynn Spears announced her pregnancy to the world, the populace starting making comparisons to the movie Juno.
After all, both the fictional Juno and Spears’ real life have parallels — both feature a plucky teenager who gets knocked up and has to make some hard decisions along the way.
So it’s no surprise that Page Six of the New York Post is reporting that “sources say Britney’s pregnant kid sister is gaga over the soundtrack of red-hot flick.”
“She loves it and it’s helping her through her difficult time,” said the paper’s unnamed source.
She reportedly saw the flick the day before she revealed her secret to the planet with her mom Lynne. If accurate, we certainly can’t fault the girl for her tastes — the Juno soundtrack truly is one of the best of 2007.
Here’s to hoping the Moldy Peaches get back together. Until then, we’ll just have to keep watching their brief reunion at the Juno premiere.
Tila Tequila Gives Love Another Shot On MTV
January 3, 2008
Tila Tequila, the uberstar that originally spawned from MySpace, has signed on to give love another shot on MTV.
The original Shot at Love was a megahit for the network, with the finale drawing in an astonishing six million viewers. That’s the biggest draw for a series on MTV since November ‘02.
In the first run of the series, Ms. Tequila chose Bobby Banhart to be her one and only. However, she recently announced that the two have already gone separate ways. Bobby claimed that they never even saw each other after he “won”, complaining on his MySpace that “she never called me after the last show and no one would give me her number.”
Either way, she’s single once again…which is quite convenient for all parties involved.
There will be ten new episodes of the show which will begin airing this spring. The format will remain the same, with both men and women vying to win Tila’s heart.
